Solvers Studio is an international collective of designers and innovators, passionate about using design-led approaches to make lasting, impactful and equitable changes.
Our design with purpose strapline is our guiding principle. We want to be purposeful in what we do and what we put out into the world, with a mission to replenish, restore and regenerate.
A big part of our work is to develop awareness, knowledge and understanding in others of what this means and what it looks like in practice. Our [RE]IMAGINE series of seminars is to help practitioners not only share and showcase their work, but to support the learning and development of others through great facilitation.
We're seeking proposals from the bright and the brilliant, those who have insight and knowledge to share and can inspire others. We're hoping to showcase a huge spectrum of practice and we're seeking to curate a varied and diverse portfolio of activity, so whether you're a service designer working in the charity sector, a social innovator with a background in big data, a lecturer in regenerative design, or a community leader rooted in social justice work, all are welcome to propose a session they want to deliver and earn some money from.
The seminars should relate to at least one of the following core themes and help people reimagine place and planet:
- Regenerative Futures
- Open Democracy
- Equity design
- Collaborative social action
- Innovation-in-practice
- Social design
- Community engagement and leadership
- Systems design and complexity
- Open data
- Tech innovation
We are looking to build a programme of sessions which will take place every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, with options for delivery in the morning, afternoon or evening. In the proposal form, you'll be able to select dates and preferred slots that work for you and your schedule.
You can submit a seminar proposal by completing this online form.
